Leisurely floating, proudly showing its beauty, which is matched only by the natural and urban surroundings, this swan once escaped my capture on camera. It swam away just as I perfected the angle of the lens, and the moment was lost. This piece is therefore party about opportunities that we allow to slip through our hands just as the rarity and value of the opportunity crystallized in our mind. Finally captured on canvas, the swan lands on the clear lake, and the perturbance of the water is reflected in the sky above.
