An homage to Caspar David Friedrich, the protagonist in his “Wanderer above a sea of fog” finds himself in front of the Cadini di Misurina of the Italian Dolomites. The trek to this promontory is not for the casual walker and especially difficult dressed as this lone hiker is. What must be his motivation to seek such solitude? What is the grand decision that he faces that requires such deep contemplation?
